No Ordinary Summer Camp: Omaha area students indulge in “brainy” experience

The camp is the result of a partnership between NWU and the Avenue Scholars Foundation, a program started in 2008 to support students from Omaha area high schools who need some extra guidance as they continue from high school, into college, and eventually the workforce.

Recording Preserves Voice of Nebraska State Poet William Kloefkorn

William Kloefkorn died on May 19, 2011. Kloefkorn taught English at Nebraska Wesleyan University for 40 years and served as Nebraska state poet for 29. In that time, the depth of his voice, kindness and poetry touched thousands of people.
