Nebraska Wesleyan’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration, held Friday, January 20, included recognition of this year's advocates for diversity. Honored were students Julisa Aburto Sanchez and Ruth Ekka, Professor Jaime Cano and former Director of Student Diversity and Inclusion Wendy Hunt.

Kit Gonifas was selected as a 2023 Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship recipient to study abroad. Gonifas, an art major and art history minor, will spend the Fall 2023 semester at the University of York in York, England.
