Assistant Professor of Business Administration
Nebraska Wesleyan University is seeking applications for a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Business Administration position beginning in August of 2025. Final rank will be determined by the provost upon hire. Nebraska Wesleyan is a liberal arts institution with approximately 1,600 students and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.

The selected candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate (MBA) classes. The teaching load is normally 12 credit hours per semester and may include occasional evening classes. The MBA program is offered fully online. Additional faculty responsibilities include the following: assisting students with career development as an academic advisor; serving on Departmental and University committees; and participating in curriculum development. Faculty members are expected to commit to continued professional development and service in support of the mission and values of a liberal arts-centered education.
- A doctorate degree, or MBA plus 18 completed credit hours towards a doctoral degree in a related field is required; equivalent degree and coursework will be considered
- Expertise and/or relevant work experience in human resource management, business management, business communication, entrepreneurship, information systems, statistics, and business strategy are preferred
- Familiarity with Canvas course technology or similar LMS software is a plus
- Demonstrated interpersonal and innovative teaching skills are required
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with faculty and students is essential
- Strong commitment to student-centered active learning and student engagement activities
- Appreciation for a liberal arts tradition and a passion for teaching and learning
