Billing Process
The Business Office will provide a preliminary tuition statement to you for the Fall (mid-July) and Spring (mid-December) semesters via Self-Service. You will also receive email notification that your tuition statement is ready for viewing. Contact the Business Office if you need to request a printed bill. Payment options are explained on our "Payment Options" page.
The preliminary tuition statement will reflect tuition and fees and disbursed financial aid along with any outside scholarships we have received to date. The statement will also include any anticipated aid, which represents aid not yet disbursed. If you will not be accepting a loan showing in the "anticipated aid" section of your tuition and fee statement, add the loan amount back to your semester balance.
Additionally, if there is an outstanding balance or if you incur any incidental charges (ex. library fines, parking tickets, student health fees, lost room keys, etc), we will bill those periodically throughout the semester. Monthly statements are available online after the 5th of each month.
Failure to receive a statement is not an acceptable excuse for not meeting a payment deadline. If you are unable to view your statement, but are expecting one, contact the Business Office at (402) 465-2119. If someone else is expected to pay a student's bills, the student should advise that person of these instructions.
Delinquent Accounts
Your account will be accessed a $40 late fee and finance charge will be applied on a monthly basis.
Financial Holds
Failure to settle your account balance by the established due dates will result in a financial hold being placed on your student account. Students with a financial hold are unable to register for courses, receive transcripts, or receive their diplomas. A financial hold will be removed once a student's account has been paid in full.
