Student Handbook and CSWE Student Learning Outcomes

Social Work Program Student Handbook

NWU’s social work program is guided by specific policies and procedures that are outlined in the Social Work Program Student Handbook. This document provides details on admission to the program, how students progress through the program and information on how students enter the field practicum experience.

Social Work Program Outcomes

To ensure students are learning the knowledge, skills and abilities they need to be effective social work practitioners, our program regularly assesses student learning. The program assesses learning through capstone assignments and through evaluating students during their field practicum experience. We use assessment data to inform program updates, modifications and curricular changes. The most recent program assessment outcomes are provided here.
