Pre-Physician Assistant Education

Pre-Physician Assistant Education

Students applying to the University of Nebraska Medical Center to the Physician Assistant program must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.8. Students should choose elective hours from the sciences, social sciences and humanities. Additional courses in chemistry, biology, mathematics, and psychology beyond the required minimums should also be considered.

Other physician assistant schools may have different requirements. The NWU pre-health advisor, academic advisors, and the NWU Career Center can aid in determining these requirements.
