Every spring semester, Nebraska Wesleyan hosts a Business Summit that provides students an opportunity to learn from prominent business leaders’ wisdom and experience through series of in-classroom panels.

Company presidents and CEOs from across the country provide panel discussions and an opportunity for networking.

Students also compete in the annual Quick Pitch contest where they will “pitch” a business idea before a panel of judges.

Pitch Contest winners win $1,000 for first place, $500 for second place and $150 for third place. The top three teams also win a free trip to Estonia for 12 days to work with International Entrepreneurs and a week of training in Lincoln, Nebraska to work with entrepreneurs. The NWU students will then compete with College of Charleston and University of Tartu (in Estonia) in a pitch contest for around $10,000 in prize money.
