Getting involved on campus is one of the keys to college success. And there’s always something going on at NWU and in Lincoln. 

Encourage your student to attend the Involvement Fair on September 11. That’s where they can sign up for student clubs and organizations.

There are also plenty of social events and helpful programs to get your student connected on campus. Here are some fall semester highlights on campus:

Fireside Social 

Friday, August 30, 8 p.m. 
Music, sweet treats, friends and games hosted by Wesleyan Entertainment Board (WEB). 

Glow Zone 

Friday, September 6, 8 p.m. 
Students celebrate the start of the school year with this energetic social hosted by WEB. 

Football vs. Dakota State 

Saturday, September 7, 5 p.m. (tailgate), 7 p.m. (kickoff) 
Catch P-Wolf football’s home opener and enjoy a tailgate and activities sponsored by Greek Life and WEB. 

Involvement Fair 

Wednesday, September 11, 10 a.m.–1 p.m. 
It’s easy for students to join organizations and connect with campus resources. 

Visions & Ventures + Global Village 

Wednesday, September 25, 4 - 6 p.m. 
Global speakers, booths, and entertainment. 

Country Line Dance 

Thursday, September 26, 8 p.m. 
Students can pull on their boots and join the dancing + lessons.

Wesleyan Week 

October 1- 5 
Student events include: 

  • French Toast Feed
  • Screen on the Green
  • Howl Like Hell pep rally
  • Cheer on the Prairie Wolves: Volleyball (Oct. 2) and Football (Oct. 5) 

A Major Event 

Wednesday, October 16 
A Career Center-hosted look at NWU majors. 

Purple Run 

Thursday, October 24, 4:30 p.m. 
Run, walk or roll for a great cause. 

Axe Throwing 

Friday, November 8, 8 p.m. 
Explore Lincoln with a night of throwing axes with friends.
