Network maintenance scheduled for Friday, 7/7

CSIT has scheduled a maintenance operation for Friday, 7/7, to update the software running the campus Fortinet firewall.  This update addresses known security vulnerabilities in the current software version and is recommended by the manufacturer as a critical update.  The maintenance will begin at 4:30pm and is expected to be completed by 4:45pm.

As the software update is processed, all network traffic between the NWU campus and the Internet will be interrupted.  Network connectivity will be restored automatically once the firewall has successfully rebooted to move the updated software into production.
