Background

Virgilio Fernando Acevedo is from western Puerto Rico. He grew up and was educated there from prekindergarden to college. Currently, he is an adjunct instructor at Nebraska Wesleyan University. Prior to this, Acevedo worked as an instructor of history and political science in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Puerto Rico. Also, he has taught Spanish as an adjunct instructor in colleges and universities in Connecticut and Boston. Acevedo has worked as a legal assistant in several law firms in New York City and in Massachusetts.
