Background

Board certified as a Medical Technologist, I worked as a clinical laboratory scientist in hospital labs in Indiana, Texas, Oregon, Missouri, and Nebraska. Areas of focus were Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Blood Bank, and Immunology. In addition, I worked as a Clinical Educator, Quality Improvement Facilitator, and Technical Consultant in the hospital system.

In the last 13 years, I have worked as a Science Instructor of Human Anatomy & Physiology at Southeast Community College and Nebraska Wesleyan University as well as working as a Medical Technologist at St. Elizabeth Regional Med. Center Laboratory.

Education

1986 - Graduated from Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences with a focus in Clinical Laboratory Sciences.
1988 - Graduated from Purdue University with a Master of Science degree in Education with emphasis in Educational Computing & Instructional Development.
Currently working on a Master of Science degree in Biology from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
