Key benefits of hybrid classes

Nursing student studies at home with her family.

Nebraska Wesleyan University offers a hybrid learning environment for nursing students. The combination of online and in-person classes provides three key benefits to students.

Flexibility

Hybrid classes more seamlessly fit into the busy schedules of working adults. Students benefit from in-person discussions and interactions in the classroom and the ability to arrange online coursework around their family and work responsibilities.

Effectiveness

Over the last decade, studies have shown that blended learning is just as effective as the traditional classroom. The opportunity to learn in the environment that works best for each student contributes to that success.

Engagement

Students stay more engaged in hybrid programs. They value time in the classroom with professors and classmates, and regularly attend because there are fewer in-person sessions. Additionally, online material may stay live longer than one class session to allow students to revisit materials and keep current with classwork.

We offer nursing programs in hybrid and online formats.

Up to $5,000 in scholarships available for nursing programs.

Nebraska Wesleyan University's nursing programs are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
