Due to predicted snowfall and blizzard-like conditions, NWU will be closed today, March 19. Rain is expected to turn to snow between 7-9 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. Wind gusts could reach 70 mph throughout the day creating blizzard conditions. A blizzard warning is in effect until this evening. The closure will also help our maintenance crews work to clear snow from sidewalks and parking lots.

In-person classes are cancelled. All online classes, regardless of program, will take place as scheduled.

Employees are encouraged to work remotely if you have a NWU laptop or home computer. If you have questions, please contact your supervisor directly. Maintenance employees will be contacted by their lead supervisor who will provide work details and shift information.

Weary Center open recreation – 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and 3 p.m. – 9 p.m.

**athletic practices may occur during open recreation time
