Published

Nebraska Wesleyan University nursing professor Jeri Brandt has been honored by the Nebraska Nurses Association with the organization's "Outstanding Nurse Educator Award."

Brandt — who has taught at Nebraska Wesleyan since 1990 — was recognized during the Nebraska Nurses Association (NNA) state convention, held October 14 in Kearney, Neb.

The award is presented annually to a nurse based on their achievements in the primary role of an educator. The award goes to an individual directly involved in patient education, nursing education, continuing education and staff development.
