Eight Nebraska Wesleyan University seniors have been named to the 2016 homecoming court.
The NWU student body will vote on Tuesday and Wednesday, and the homecoming king and queen will be crowned Thursday night during the Howl Like Hell pep rally.
Members of this year’s homecoming court are:
Queen:
- Kristen Hasty of Wray, Colo., theatre studies major. She is the daughter of Les and Shirley Hasty, and was nominated by the Wesleyan Theatre Company.
- Megan Johnson of Bellevue, communication studies major. She is the daughter of Kathy and Denny Johnson, and was nominated by Delta Zeta Sorority.
- Katie Krick of Lincoln, communication studies major. She is the daughter of Dan and Susan Krick, and was nominated by Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity.
- Olivia Wolfe of Omaha, communication studies and Spanish major. She is the daughter of Gavin and Christina Wolfe. She was nominated by the Wesleyan Communication Association.
King:
- Mitchell Heavican of Schuyler, English major. He is the son of Joseph and Susan Heavican, and was nominated by Zeta Psi Fraternity.
- Garret Lorenzen of Ceresco, biology major. He is the son of Dave and Jennifer Lorenzen, and was nominated by Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity, Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority and Willard Sorority.
- Gabriel Rivera of Juarez, Mexico, communication studies major. He is the son of Hipolito Rivera and Raquel Aguirre. He was nominated by the Wesleyan Communication Association.
- Cody Schilling of Lincoln, chemistry major. He is the son of Kraig and Mindy Schilling. He was nominated by Theta Chi Fraternity.
