Nebraska Wesleyan University’s Elder Gallery will open for the new academic year with the exhibit “2+1.”

The exhibit features the work of Nebraska Wesleyan University painting instructor Arjan Zazueta as well as local artists Carlos Guerrero and Trudie Teijink.

The exhibit runs from September 2 to October 2. An opening reception will be held Friday, September 2 from 5 to 7 p.m. Regular gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, 1 to 4 p.m.

The exhibit will feature paintings, drawings, installations, collages, and sculptures.

Elder Gallery is located inside the Rogers Center for Fine Arts, located at 50th Street and Huntington Ave. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
