Anderson receives NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship

Nebraska Wesleyan graduate student Gabe Anderson of men's track and field has been awarded the NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship for the spring 2024 season.

Anderson of Omaha, Neb. graduated in May from NWU with a 3.76 GPA as a business administration major with minors in accounting and data analytics. He currently has a 3.95 GPA in the Master of Business Administration program at NWU.

Anderson was an indoor and outdoor NCAA All-American and a national qualifier for the indoor 4x400m and outdoor 4x400m events. He was a part of the American Rivers Conference All-Academic team for the past four years and earned All-Conference honors 10 times throughout his career. 

Anderson holds three school records and appears on the NWU Top 10 charts 12 times. He was a member of the fraternity Phi Kappa Tau (PKT) and provided many hours of volunteer work and service to the community of Lincoln. 

NWU now has 65 athletes who have earned NCAA Postgraduate Scholarships. The Prairie Wolves remain in the NCAA top ten for this award. The NWU track & field and cross-country programs have tallied 34 NCAA Postgraduate Scholarships since 2000.
