Business Degrees

Business Degrees

It’s simple. Success requires experience. A business degree from NWU combines business education with business experience like no other school in this region.

Conduct internships. We believe so strongly in internships that we encourage you to do more than one. You can do two for credit. We connect NWU students to internships at local businesses like Ameritas Financial, KPMG LLP, Sandhills Publishing, State Farm and Union Bank. Others work in Washington, D.C., through NWU’s Capitol Hill Internship Program (CHIP).

Manage real money. NWU’s Student Investment Group puts you in charge of a $1.5 million portfolio within Nebraska Wesleyan’s endowment. You do the research. You evaluate the risks. And you make the decisions—just like you will in your career.

Make business connections. Our annual Business Summit brings dozens of CEOs and business leaders to campus for panel discussions and networking. And with the Quick Pitch Competition, you have the chance to pitch your business ideas to a panel of judges and potential investors.

Get a head start on your MBA. Many business undergraduates transition straight into NWU’s Master of Business Administration program. Some courses offer dual credit. Accounting majors can earn an accounting bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in just five years.

High-demand degrees added. Financial Planning, Digital Marketing and Project Management degrees are now available to NWU students. These fields of study are in high demand for employers and students.

Get amazing results.
